Participate in a Clinical Trial
Without the participation of people with MS, it would be impossible to develop new and better therapies and other interventions.

Deployment o the Multidisciplinary Prospective Cohort Imminent
Immune-mediated inflammatory diseases (IMIDs) most often affect young patients and have high impact on morbidity and mortality with a significant alteration in the quality of life of patients with professional, social and emotional repercussions. Beyond this burden, IMIDs share many common pathophysiological mechanisms and treatments, known as "targeted therapies". Despite progress in this field, much remains to be done in clinical, therapeutic and fundamental research to address the efficacy, resistance and side-effects of treatment. These similarities between IMIDs have led the FHU IMMINeNT to propose the creation of a ...

Description of Adherence to the Main Preventive Health Campaigns of Persons With Multiple Sclerosis
Persons with multiple sclerosis (PwMS) might be more susceptible to infections and cancers and chronic diseases than general population, not because of the presence of the disease itself, but in relation to some specific therapies use or the degree of disability. Based on the currently available knowledge, the use of many disease-modifying drugs (DMDs) requires special attention to the possibility of infectious events or onset of cancer. In this perspective, a still unmet clinical need in PwMS is the acquisition of a complete picture of the immunization status against the main infectious diseases and the risk of cancer and other ...

Determining the Effectiveness of earLy Intensive Versus Escalation Approaches for RRMS
The DELIVER-MS study seeks to answer the question: Does early treatment with highly effective DMT improve the prognosis for people with MS? This is an area of significant controversy and no data currently exist to guide treatment choices for patients and clinicians. The study results will help guide overall treatment philosophy and will be applicable not only to a wide range of existing therapies but also to new therapies, meeting a significant unmet need in patient decision making and aiding the decision for medication approval by third parties.

Development of a Novel Functional Eye-Tracking Software Application for Multiple Sclerosis
This study aims to develop and validate a sensitive and non-invasive eye-tracking software application. This study will obtain participant responses to brief cognitive tests designed to evaluate several key functions known to be affected by MS and non-invasive eye movement measurements in response to visually presented stimuli during specifically designed eye-tracking tests. The study data will be used to develop machine learning algorithms and validate a software application intended to track the progressive component of multiple sclerosis and associated cognitive changes.

Diagnostic Value of eVOG
Eye movement is a complex neurological function controlled by many structures located in the central nervous system. The eyeball is mobile within the orbit and its movements are carried out using 6 muscles innervated by 3 oculomotor nerves allowing to perform reflex or voluntary eye movements in all elementary directions. So-called internuclear structures allow the two eyeballs to perform combined movements. The attack of these structures during an acute or chronic neurological disease will most often cause oculomotor paralysis in one or more directions of gaze which will be perceived by the patient as double vision. ...

Disability Level and Trunk Control in Individuals With Multiple Sclerosis
Trunk control disorders are frequently encountered in individuals with MS. Trunk control is very important for safe and quality movement. Impairment of trunk control reduces the level of independence of individuals during activities of daily living. For this reason, it is extremely important to evaluate the trunk in the examination and treatment of individuals. When the literature was examined, it was seen that studies examining trunk control were insufficient. Therefore, our study was planned to investigate the relationship between disability level and trunk control in individuals with MS.

Disease Modifying Therapies Withdrawal in Inactive Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis Patients Older Than 50 Years (STOP-I-SEP)
Further controlled and randomized prospective studies in Multiple sclerosis, analyzing the potential impact of treatment discontinuation on disability progression, focal disease activity and quality of life are needed. The optimum patient age and duration of inactive SPMS before treatment withdrawal and the monitoring procedures also need to be specified, the ultimate goal being to provide evidence-based recommendations for clinical practice. Following the previous retrospective experience, we decided to drive a multicenter prospective study in France based on the hypothesis that stopping disease modifying therapy will not induce an...

Don't be Late! Postponing Cognitive Decline and Preventing Early Unemployment in People With Multiple Sclerosis
The goal of this randomized controlled trial is to compare the effectiveness of two innovative interventions aimed at preventing cognitive decline and work-related problems to enhanced usual care in improving quality of life in people with multiple sclerosis. Secondary objectives are: - to compare the effectiveness of the investigated interventions in improving cognitive, psychological, and work functioning, and in enhancing the brain's functional network - to examine which factors (i.e., baseline cognitive, psychological, work, and brain MRI-parameters) are predictive of the response to the investigated...
